Biography

Justin Tubb was born on August 20, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas, USA. He was an actor, known for The Evening Star (1996), Briarpatch (2019) and The Porter Wagoner Show (1961). He was married to Carolyn McPherson. He died on January 24, 1998 in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

Son of country singer Ernest Tubb and Lois Elaine Cook.

He appeared at the Western Film Fair in Charlotte, North Carolina in July 1996 and July 1997. At the 1996 show, he appeared with Morgan Woodward, Tony Young, Patricia Blair, Roberta Shore, Tommy Kirk, Gene Evans, Adrian Booth, Gregory Walcott, Dale Berry, Robert F. Hoy and Neil Summers. At the 1997 show, he appeared with James Drury, Henry Darrow, Sue Ane Langdon, Will Hutchins, Ted Markland, Robert F. Hoy, Don Collier, Jane Adams and Donna Martell.

He was buried in Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, in Old Hickory, TN. His father was also buried there.

He had three children with his wife, Carolyn: son, Cary Justin (born March 29, 1970; died November 27, 2008); daughter, Lisa; and son, Zachary.
