Konstantina Takalou

Konstantina Takalou is an actress whose training combines formal conservatoire studies with extensive stage practice. She graduated from the Drama School of the Athens Conservatoire on scholarship in 1998 and further developed her craft through a two-year workshop with Vasilis Diamantopoulos and studies at the acting workshop of Kostas Kazakos in 1996. She also attended seminars with Michail Marmarinos and Anatoly Vasilyev, alongside a long physical training background in classical, modern, and jazz dance spanning a decade. Early in her career she participated in international theatre festivals with the Attis theatre group, gaining exposure to experimental and physical theatre work. On stage she has worked extensively within Greece, with a strong association with the National Theatre and the Theatre of Art of Karolos Koun, building a sustained presence in contemporary repertory. Her collaborations include prominent directors such as Theodoros Terzopoulos, Giannis Houvardas, Stathis Livathinos, and Aris Biniaris, among others. Alongside her performance career, she teaches acting at the Karolos Koun Theatre of Art Drama School, contributing to the training of younger actors.
