Brian Whitehill was born and raised in southern California. His mother a school teacher and his father a musician. After growing up playing sports, watching endless films, and performing in high school and collegiate theatre productions, he decided to pursue a career as an actor.
At the start of his career he traveled the country on the Mamma Mia! National Tour and performed in productions at various regional theaters. In 2022, he filmed a principal role in the highly anticipated film Barbie, with Academy Award nominated director Greta Gerwig, working opposite Marielle Scott and Academy Award winner Ryan Gosling.
