Biography

Elena Stoyanova was born on January 24, 1979 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1997 - 1998 she studied foundation course in Art and Design, Falmouth College of Arts. In 1998 - 1999 - Theatre Design course at New Bulgarian University, Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1999 - 2002 - Costume Design course at Wimbledon School of Art, London (1st degree). She was a costume designer in: "Dogs", director B. Other achievements and awards: In 2007 she received Annual Award of the National Film Centre for Best Costumes ("Investigation"; "Monkeys in winter"); in 2002 she won Ashley Stewart Award for outstanding student achievements in theatre design.
