Sarudzayi Marufu is an actor, writer, director and producer based in London, UK. She is the founder & executive producer of film and theatre production company Euras Films LTD, associate producer at Beyond The Canon LTD, business development and quality assurance director for Exodus Healthcare, Crisis Manager, Operational Systems & Compliance Consultant and a participant in The Stage Innovation Award Winning Artistic Directors of the Future Board Shadowing Program. An Arts Activist passionate about inclusion, enamoured with beautiful writing & convinced that great stories enrich your life adding texture and colour.

Sarudzayi Marufu is a writer, director, producer and founder of the film production company Euras Films, which at its core strives to ensure representation in all aspects of film production - with a focus on the crew. Sarudzayi, under Euras Films, has produced multiple short films and web series including Pieces (2021) - a 4 short film catalogue that issued a provocation to black writers to write on 'black love'. Pieces tackled disability and sexuality, queer love, identity and self-love in 4 very different thought-provoking narratives.

Sarudzayi is also the Executive Producer at Beyond The Canon - a theatre production company that promotes plays by writers of colour with the objective of redefining classics and shedding light on groundbreaking, yet forgotten plays. BTC works with top-tier drama schools/theatres to diversify their curriculum/programming with Sarudzayi co-editing their 1st book to be published by Bloomsbury in April 2023. In 2021 and 2022 Sarudzayi worked under prominent producers and directors on Netflix projects, as a way of experiencing all aspects of multi-million pound budgeted filmmaking in preparation for her 1st feature film.
