Avinash Tripathi(III)

Avinash Tripathi, born in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is the biggest short filmmaker, writer, lyricist, and educator known for his distinctive storytelling and poetic vision. He discovered his passion for writing at a young age and completed his early education at Shishu Mandir in Basti before moving to Lucknow for higher studies. A top graduate in mass communication from Lucknow University, Avinash began his career as a news anchor for Doordarshan and later served as bureau chief for the crime-based show Andhko-Dekhi. Recognizing his creative insight, Prasar Bharti commissioned him to produce documentary films on India's tribal heritage, biographies, and cultural traditions. Driven by a deep love for storytelling, Avinash transitioned into filmmaking and has since directed and written numerous short films and soon became the biggest short filmmaker; also, he is writing for various web series and feature scripts. His lyrical work has been performed by celebrated Indian singers. Alongside his creative pursuits, Avinash spent nearly a decade teaching cinema and media studies at Amity University, mentoring aspiring filmmakers to approach cinema with purpose and artistry. His body of work reflects a seamless blend of education, emotion, and expression-establishing him as one of India's most versatile voices in contemporary cinema.
