Brother of Nico Fagundes.
Was a professional football player and referee.
Presided over the Gaúcho Institute of Tradition and Folklore (IGTF).
Served as a columnist for the newspaper Diário Gaúcho.
Served as a councilman in Alegrete, Brazil.
With his brother Nico Fagundes, he composed "Canto Alegretense", one of the most emblematic songs in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
Graduated with a law degree from the University of Cruz Alta.
