- Shion Wakayama was born on February 10, 1998 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. She is an actress, known for Dandadan (2024), Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! (2024) and Akebi's Sailor Uniform (2022).
- She began her career as an actress by joining Gekidan Himawari at the age of 3.
- Aoi Aioi, her character in the Sora no Aosa o Shiru Hito yo movie, is a bass player, and Wakayama herself is a bass player in the light music club on her college. She didn't reveal this fact when she auditioned for the role, and would only reveal this after the recording for the movie.
- She is childhood friends with Yume Miyamoto. They often go out drinking together or rent a studio to dance together.
