Rick Poyner has spent more than two and a half decades working in the film industry's location department, taking part in films like American Beauty, Jarhead, Hollywoodland, Blades of Glory, The Holiday, Battle of the Sexes , and TV shows like Dexter, and SWAT. Growing up in both the San Fernando and the San Gabriel Valley gave him a strong sense of the communities he now works with, and over the years he has earned the trust of many neighborhoods by showing up, communicating clearly, and treating people with respect. His experience comes from time in the field, and he's built a career by helping productions settle into real time locations in a way that works for everyone involved.
