Harrison Quast

Harrison Quast was born and raised in South London to Australian parents, and moved to Sydney at nineteen, armed with an unused Australian passport. After years working across hospitality and theatre production - as a bar manager, cocktail trainer, and theatre mechanist - he made the decision in his late twenties to pursue acting professionally. He went on to graduate from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 2021, where he also completed a three-year Ashtanga yoga teacher-training apprenticeship alongside his studies, and continued to compete in Brazilian jiu-jitsu - physical disciplines that remain central to his craft. Quast made his screen debut in the Australian drama series Bump (2021), followed by a role in Ten Pound Poms (2023), the BBC and Stan co-production charting the post-war migration of British families to Australia. He is set to appear in Play Dead, a WWII thriller directed by Jaume Collet-Serra - the filmmaker behind Netflix’s Carry-On - acquired by Netflix ahead of release.
