Biography

Rob Farnham is a talented musician, actor and writer.

The son of legendary Australian singer John Farnham, he grew up with a passion for music and began playing guitar and performing with local bands in his hometown of Melbourne at a young age.

In 2001, Farnham landed his first acting role in the feature film The Wilde Girls, directed by Del Shores.

This was followed by a role in the 2002 feature film Queen of the Damned, directed by Michael Rymer.

In 2015, Farnham’s band Rival Fire signed with Sony Music Australia. The band has since toured with popular Australian acts such as The Butterfly Effect and Dead Letter Circus. They have also supported international acts including Birds of Tokyo and KISS. The band has released two albums to date, showcasing Farnham’s writing skills and powerful vocals.

More recently, Farnham has expanded his focus within the film and television industry and will appear on the Australian celebrity version of The Traitors, set to air on Network 10 later this year.

He has also continued developing his acting craft through multiple professional acting workshops, including training with renowned casting director Greg Apps of Greg Apps Casting, Jess Wren’s Mizner acting workshops, and Actors Room Byron Bay.

Throughout his career, Farnham has proven himself to be a talented and versatile artist. He plans to continue writing more music, acting, and developing screenplays and other creative projects.
