Chuck Ozeas

Biography

Chuck Ozeas

Mini bio

  • Chuck Ozeas is a Los Angeles-based, Emmy Award-winning cinematographer known for crafting story-driven visuals that blend lyrical imagery with dynamic, performance-centered camerawork.

His narrative television work includes HBO Max and Mindy Kaling’s "The Sex Lives of College Girls", Netflix’s "The Upshaws" starring Wanda Sykes, "Arrested Development", and "The Brian Regan Show", produced by Netflix and Jerry Seinfeld. He also just completed Season 1 of Disney’s "Electric Bloom", a series about the birth of a young rock band that culminated in a full-scale live concert staged for its rising stars.

He recently completed the feature-length opera "Plump Jack", composed by Gordon Getty and inspired by Shakespeare’s "Henry IV" and "Henry V". Shot in a widescreen, single-camera style, the film features a sweeping cinematic scale befitting its royal subject matter and the lives of its kings.

Chuck began his career shooting iconic music videos for artists including Nine Inch Nails, Dave Matthews, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Dr. Dre, Lil Jon, Wyclef Jean, and Smash Mouth. His commercial credits include campaigns for Toyota, GMC, BMW, Dodge, Subaru, IKEA, Ralph Lauren, Victoria’s Secret, Reebok, Nike, Coca-Cola, and State Farm. He earned an Emmy for his work on NBC’s "Sunday Night Football" show open featuring Carrie Underwood, a title sequence he has shot for the last 14 years.

He wrapped up 2025 with a Netflix stand-up special for Mike Epps, releasing soon, along with a large-scale live concert shoot with Lenny Kravitz for the NBA to start airing in February ’26.

He approaches every project with energy, creativity, and commitment, genuinely loving what he does, thriving on collaboration, and bringing positive energy to every set while delivering cinematic storytelling across comedy, music, and spectacle.
