Bálint Vigh is an independent filmmaker based in Budapest, Hungary. He is the founder of Rueda Pictures, where he develops and directs narrative films, music videos, and international co-productions. His directorial debut short film Running Dreams (Álmokfutás, 2020) won the Best Short Film Award at the Tagore International Film Festival. His second short film, Neurodance, is making its way through the international festival circuit.
In addition to narrative work, Vigh has directed several music videos, including Dennie Wander - Devil On My Shoulder, and produced the award-winning short film Progeny, an English-Hungarian co-production.
Before establishing himself as a director, he worked in various crew roles on numerous Hungarian independent films, including assistant camera, editor, and first assistant director. His most ambitious project to date is Konekt, a psychological sci-fi drama that explores identity, memory, and control through an immersive, near-future therapeutic technology.
