Will N. Miller is a documentary filmmaker and co-founder of Documist, a production company based in NYC and Toronto. His work mostly focuses on environmental conflict, migration, and human rights. He has worked in over 30 countries and speaks English and Spanish fluently, as well as Portuguese and French conversationally.
His first feature film as a producer, The Territory (dir. Alex Pritz), premiered at Sundance 2022, where it won two awards and was sold to National Geographic Documentary Films. Before that, he worked primarily on short films and digital features, winning dozens of awards including an Emmy (out of 3x nominations) and a Canadian Screen Awards nomination. His work has been published by the New York Times, National Geographic, The Guardian, the Economist, the New Yorker, CNN, NBC, and the BBC. He has also worked extensively for commercial and NGO clients around the world.
