Biography

Delaney Bishop

Mini bio

  • Raised in Chicago and Los Angeles, Delaney pursued his studies in Art and Film at NYU, continuing his education at ArtCenter in Pasadena. Delaney wrote and directed Death of Salvador Dali, an award-winning film that has been showcased worldwide, including at institutions such as MOMA and PS in New York.

In addition to his work in film, Delaney is recognized as an Avant Guardian by Surface magazine for his photography, having shot campaigns for Flaunt, Guess, Tom Ford, as well as numerous celebrity portraits. This experience led to his role as a director / producer for NBC where he produced and directed promos, photo campaigns, music videos, and over a dozen award winning commercials. He parlayed this into a producer role on feature films at a sister company, Fluency until departing to start his own company.

Delaney founded Bishop Takes Queen, a production co. specializing in brand content, music videos, and film. Known for beauty, horror, and high-energy choreography, Delaney is attached to direct two feature films. He is currently shooting spots and recently made two short films, including Animus, which has won Best Short in multiple festivals.
