- Maria is the seventh of ten children born to Canadians Haig and Faith Pinsent. Her introduction to acting was at the age of eight when she was elated to earn the lead role in the school play. This began decades of back-to-back productions in various capacities, from backstage to directing.
Additionally, Maria comes from a musical family and began writing songs around the age of seven, a love she continues to nurture.
Maria raised two children before moving to Los Angeles, California, where she is pursuing a film career.
