Biography

Svitlana Lishchynska (born 1970, Mariupol) a Ukrainian film director. Svetlana has worked for more than 25 years for the leading Ukrainian TV channels. She directed numerous reality shows and documentary projects. Since 2015, Svetlana has been engaged in film production. She has directed several documentaries and written two full-length feature films. During the period of the Russian invasion, Svitlana is filming a documentary about her family from Mariupol.

Svitlana Lishchynska a Ukrainian filmmaker. Svitlana has worked for more than 25 years for the leading Ukrainian TV channels. Since 2014, Svitlana has started a new chapter in her life. She left television, worked in a charity shop and studied filmmaking in depth. She directed a few middle length documentaries and studied script-writing. Svitlana's film A Bit Of a Stranger based on her personal story was premiered at Berlinale Panorama 2024
