Miguel Magalhães is a Portuguese screenwriter, copywriter and director. He received the Leverhulme Trust Arts Scholarship to study at the London Film School. His screenplay The Perfect Gift is a winner of the Italian national competition "Contributti Selettivi" (2022), and his work is now being supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC). His debut short Sputnik premiered at the Sophia Estudante, winning 2nd place for Best Fiction Short Film. His latest work, Litoral premiered in official competition at the IndieLisboa Film Festival.
