Biography

Matthias Jabs was born on October 25, 1955 in Hannover, Germany. He is an actor and composer, known for Queen: Die Show (2006), Scorpions: Rhythm of Love (1988) and Scorpions: No One Like You (1982).

Has been the lead guitar player for legendary rock band Scorpions for 16 years now, as he joined in 1978.

Normally uses custom made Gibson Explorers and Fenders that are slightly smaller than normal ones. His favourite of these guitars is a customized white Explorer with black stripes. This is the guitar he uses in most music videos, and dominates most of his live performances as well.

Joined rock band Scorpions in 1978, replacing Ulrich John Roth on lead guitar.
