Biography

Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre was born on January 27, 1975 in Bremen, West Germany. He is a writer and actor, known for Soloalbum (2003), Stuckrad bei den Schweizern (2005) and Zettl (2012).

His first novel "Soloalbum" made him the leading author of the so called pop literature (1998).

Speaks openly about his cocaine addiction and bulimia following his surprising success on the documentary Rausch und Ruhm (2004).

Has lived in Zurich, Switzerland since 2002.
