Vera Sophie Huibregtse

Vera Sophie is a Dutch, Amsterdam based theatre-and film actress. She studied musical theatre at the Willem Nijholt Academy in Nijmegen and moved to Amsterdam in 2017. She has played roles in several commercials, starred in many short films and presents and records voice-overs in both International English RP and Dutch. In 2025, she will be playing Veronica Sawyer in the off-Broadway musical "Heathers" by Happily Ever After Productions in Amsterdam. With horror spoof "Square Eyes", she won Best Film at the 48 Hour Film Contest in Amsterdam in 2022, which brought her and her team Rocket Box Media to the Filmapalooza Film Festival in Los Angeles in 2023. In 2024, she won again in Utrecht with her team QV Creative with "A flower without words", which will be screened at the Filmapalooza Film Festival in Seattle in March, 2025. Vera Sophie is trained in the Chubbuck technique.
