Biography

Dena Higley was born on September 26, 1958 in Tulare, California, USA. Dena is a writer, known for Days of Our Lives (1965), One Life to Live (1968) and Days of Our Lives' Christmas (2001). Dena is married to Mark Higley. They have four children.

The head writer for the soap opera Days of Our Lives (1965), she crafted a story line about how the characters Abe and Lexie Carver discover their son Theo has autism. She wrote the story line based on the experiences her family went through with their son Connor, who is autistic.
