Simonee Chichester is a filmmaker working in both fiction and documentary. Her work has received critical acclaim, been broadcast, and screened internationally. Credits include the Hot Docs Audience Top Ten-selected Chichester's Choice, Captivus (Short of the Week, Inside Out Film Festival), the CBC original short My Guy (Canadian Reflections), the CBC/Entertainment One/Netflix series Moonshine, and the Directors Guild-nominated short Him & Her. A graduate of the Directors' Lab at the Canadian Film Centre, founded by Norman Jewison, Simonee previously trained in acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. She splits her time between Los Angeles and Toronto.
