- Anshumaan Pushkar is an Indian actor who works in the Hindi television industry. Hailing from a family of film enthusiasts, Pushkar gravitated towards acting after moving to Mumbai in 2010 to obtain an MBA degree.
After training with Nadira Babbar's theatre group Ekjute, Pushkar debuted on television with the historical drama series Chandrashekhar (2018), which premiered on Star Bharat. In 2020, Pushkar acted in the crime drama series Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega (2020), released on Netflix. His role as an impulsive youth called Rocky earned him popularity.
His next acting venture was in the web series Kathmandu Connection (2021), aired exclusively on SonyLIV. Pushkar played the role of a student-turned-mafioso.
He then went on to play a pivotal role in the crime drama series Eclipse (2021), which is set against the backdrop of the Sikh riots of 1984, streamed on Hotstar. He rose to fame with his character Rishi Ranjan in this series.
Pushkar featured in Ishq Chakallas, directed by Ashok Yadav and co-starring Amitabh Bachchan.
