Jack-Alain Léger was born on 5 June 1947 in Paris, France. He was a writer, known for Mon premier amour (1978), Monsignor (1982) and Life Kills Me (2002). He died on 17 July 2013 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France.

Son of &#39;Paris Match&#39; literary critic Jean Bruèges.

He translated into french Bob Dylan&#39;s novel &quot;Tarantula&quot; using the pseudonym Dashiell Hedayat.

He won the &quot;Grand prix du disque de l&#39;académie Charles Cros&quot; for his music record under the name of Melmoth.

He had 50 different pseudonyms in his career. He was a music critic for French magazine &quot;Rock&amp;Folk&quot;.
