Biography

Jack-Alain Léger was born on June 5, 1947 in Paris, France. He was a writer, known for Mon premier amour (1978), Monsignor (1982) and Life Kills Me (2002). He died on July 17, 2013 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France.

Son of 'Paris Match' literary critic Jean Bruèges.

He translated into french Bob Dylan's novel "Tarantula" using the pseudonym Dashiell Hedayat.

He won the "Grand prix du disque de l'académie Charles Cros" for his music record under the name of Melmoth.

He had 50 different pseudonyms in his career. He was a music critic for French magazine "Rock&Folk".
