Vandous Stripling II

Vandous Stripling II is a classically trained actor and MFA graduate of The Old Globe and the University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Theatre Program. He has appeared in numerous stage, narrative, and commercial projects for television and film, as well as print media and social marketing campaigns in the U.S. and abroad.
He began his theatrical training at The Black Academy of Arts and Letters under Akin Babatunde, mentored by the late Ellen Stewart. Vandous has since worked on productions throughout the United States, including the Broadway tour of Jaja's African Hair Braiding, The Old Globe's production of Henry VI, and Pittsburgh Public Theater's production of Trouble in Mind. He has collaborated with notable directors including Barry Edelstein, Kathleen Marshall, Justin Emeka, and Jesse Perez.
