Biography

Naglaa el Hedeeny is an Egyptian screenwriter, who was born in Cairo.

Naglaa studied scenario writing in Cinema institute and started her career life in 2010, she has written several renowned Egyptian drama series since then. Nagla el Hedeeny was the first drama writer who tackles vitiligo and the struggle the patients face within the society due to bullying issues in her famous and one of the top 6 searched drama series in Google search in Egypt in 2020 "Lazem Aaeish" I must live (as per Google)

During her career path she has also worked as a mentor and lecturer in Scenario writing workshops, a member in Luxor African Film festival viewership committee and a jury member for el Saqia film festival.

Nagla El Hedeeny is the daughter of the well known Egyptian actor Mahmoud El Hedeeny and screenwriter and actress Nadia Rashad.
