Jacqueline Nairn is a New Zealand television director and actor. As a director, her credits include The Brokenwood Mysteries, My Life Is Murder, Blue Murder Motel, and more than 280 episodes of Shortland Street. She has directed across crime, drama and comedy, working with established and emerging talent on some of New Zealand's most recognised television productions.
Before moving behind the camera, Jacqueline built an extensive career as an actor in television and theatre. Her experience as a performer gives her a collaborative, performance-focused approach to directing, with a strong emphasis on character and storytelling. She continues to work in both disciplines while focusing primarily on directing for television.
