- Irving Serrano studied the Film Production Course at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica and a Bachelor's Degree in Cinematography at Centro.
In 2021, his short film A Charming Man obtained an honorable mention in Shorts México.
He produced the short film ¡Beso de Lengua! that won as best Mexican short film in Guanajuato International Film Festival and was selected in Tribeca 2024 and he directed Voices from the Abyss, a short documentary film about La Quebrada Cliff Divers with the support of the Mexican Institute of Cinematography official selection at Busan International Short Film Festival in 2025.
