Prasad k Shetty

Prasad K Shetty is an Indian Music Director, who works predominantly in the Kannada, Tulu & Hindi movie industry. Born in a small village near Uppinangadi in the district of Mangalore, Karnataka. He completed his formal music education in Sandesha College of Fine arts, Mangalore, Audio Engineering & Music Production in School of Audio Engineering Chennai. After assisting several Music Composers he started composing scores & soundtracks for short Films & commercials. His first movie as a independent composer was Kannada /Hindi bilingual Film Gandada Kudi. He won several awards in the Best Background Score category in various film festivals. He then Composed the soundtrack & score for Ammer Polisa (Tulu), Lungi, Nannu Adhu Mattu Saroja, Raapata (Tulu), Strawberry, Dil Kush etc. He follows an unconventional & innovative yet deep rooted style of Music Composition.
