Dakota Frandsen was born on January 19th, 1996 in the Twin Falls, Idaho and grew up in the small town of Murtaugh, Idaho. Often outcasted growing up due to his large stature, strange events lead him to pursue investigations into paranormal phenomenon after a lifetime of unexplainable events plagued his curiosity. At the age of fourteen, he founded the "International Phenomena Research Society," later becoming the "Paranormal Raider Force," then settling for the solo title of "Specialist of the Strange." Though primarily based within Southern Idaho, Dakota single-handedly takes on over a thousand case requests a year. Dakota has helped behind the scenes on several films, finally making his first on-screen appearance on National Geographic's docu-series "Drain the Oceans."

His first book appearance, regarding the supernatural, was at the age of sixteen in the ghost anthology "Hauntings from the Snake River Plain".
Dakota learned how to ghost hunt by watching Syfy's Ghost Hunters.
Dakota's first on-screen appearance was on the National Geographic docu-series "Drain the Oceans," episode "Secrets of Loch Ness." The footage taken by Dakota was filmed during a vacation he took with close friends to Scotland where he reportedly spotted multiple "Nessie"-like creatures. It was the first reported sighting of the Loch Ness Monster in the year 2018.
A giant of a man in person, Dakota Frandsen is often mistaken as being much older than his actual age. This lead to a number of incidents where Dakota was able to easily hide his age in order to pursue more projects.
