Xu Minghao is a Chinese singer, rapper, dancer currently active as a member of South Korean idol group SEVENTEEN by the stage name THE8. He is part of the Performance Team sub unit of Seventeen. The meaning behind his stage name is that when the 8 is laid down, the infinite sign appears. He was born in Anshan, Liaoning, China. His Korean name is Seo Myung Ho. He did b-boying in China for 6 years and has been practicing Chinese Wushu (martial art) since he was 5 years old. He participated and won first prize at the National Children's martial arts competition. He is part of the famous '97 liners of kpop, they have a group chat.
