Matteo Ciotola is an Italian filmmaker, screenwriter, and editor. He co-wrote La rivoluzione (2019), the debut feature by Joseph Troia, which was showcased at the Cannes Film Festival's Marché du Film and had its world premiere at the Academy Award-qualifying Galway Film Fleadh, earning nominations for both International Competition and Best Debut Feature. His no-budget graduation horror short, Within (2018), was selected by the Hot Springs International Horror Film Festival and acquired by Cineverse. He has also worked extensively as an Assistant Director on productions for Netflix, Rai Fiction, Fandango, and Minerva Pictures.
