Biography

Bob McKeown is known for Strangers in a Strange Land: The Adventures of a Canadian Film Crew in China (1988), The Fifth Estate (1975) and True Crime Canada (2013). He is married to Sheilagh D'Arcy McGee,. They have four children.

His father was also a CBC journalist and broadcaster. He was a football player on the Ottawa team that won the Grey Cup in 1973. He was named to the Order of Canada on 29 December 2021.

He was awarded the C.M. (Member of the Order of Canada) on November 17, 2021 by the Canadian Governor General in Chelsea, Quebec, Canada.
