Biography

Zachery (Zack) Scherer is an Assistant Director based out of New Orleans, LA. Zack has been a member of the Director's Guild of America since 2022 and has worked in the Assistant Director's department in film and television since 2018. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Film and Media Arts.

Zack is known for his work as the 2nd 2nd AD on the final season of OWN's "Queen Sugar", as well as his work as an additional 2nd AD on "Parish", "The Winchester's", "The Crossover", "Lisa Frankenstein", and "The Nickel Boys". Some of Zack's notable credits as a production assistant include "The Killer", "True Detective Season 3", "The Matrix Resurrections", and "Venom: Let There Be Carnage".
