Jordyn Tomars was born in Takapuna, New Zealand. As a proud Maori from Te Rarawa, she spent her formative years in Aotearoa (NZ) where she credits her culture, family values, and sense of humour for shaping her grounded outlook on life.
An actress with experience both in front of and behind the camera, Jordyn has appeared in projects including Crazy8's My Mother The Zombie, Mislead, and Seriously Red. Her work on screen was recognised with a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2021 Martini Awards. In 2022, she expanded her creative scope by writing, producing, and co-directing her debut film Friends & The Field, which went on to win awards in the festival circuit, reflecting both her storytelling instincts and collaborative leadership on set.
With nearly five years as Head Agent at one of Queensland's top talent agencies, Jordyn brings a rare, strategic understanding of the industry to every production she joins.
