- Talei Searell is the Supervising Production Manager for the Design Studio at Weta Workshop which is a multi-award-winning design and physical manufacturing facility servicing the world's entertainment and creative industries. Specializing in genre-based film, TV and game work, creating imaginary worlds from early development through to realizing Specialty Costume, Props, Weapons, Prosthetics, SFX, Vehicles, Miniatures, Robots, Creatures.
As part of her role, she assesses new business opportunities for concept design, putting creative teams together to support a client's vision through to overseeing all studio projects with the Art Directors and Production Management teams.
Based in Wellington, New Zealand the team at Weta Workshop engages in projects from the earliest stages of technical analysis and creative design through to manufacture across all departments and final delivery on set to anywhere in the world.
