Bhaskar Ram is an Indian film director and writer who has been working prominently in Bollywood cinema since 2010. Known for his unique storytelling style, he has also made noteworthy contributions to Marathi and Telugu cinema. His directorial debut, Dil Dosti Duniyadari (2024), received acclaim and earned him the prestigious SRICA Award for Best Debut Director. His upcoming and ongoing film projects include D3 - Dosti Dil Dhokha (2026), WhatsApp Romeo (2026), and Halla (2027). He has also been recognized for his award-winning short films such as Selfie Guest (2017). An accomplished author, Bhaskar Ram has written around 18 novels, with notable works like Delmonte Estate and Cellarage, both available on Amazon. Born in Visakhapatnam, he is the son of Venkat Rao and Kanaka Mahalakshmi. After losing his father at the age of ten, he was raised by his mother with immense strength and resilience. Bhaskar completed his graduation from Andhra University and initially worked as a Tax Auditor. His passion for writing led him to publish stories and songs in various magazines. Driven by a deep desire to become a filmmaker, he resigned from his professional career and travelled to Hollywood, where he pursued advanced training in filmmaking technology. Today, he continues to create meaningful cinema with dedication, creativity, and a strong commitment to storytelling.
