Javan Tre-'Von Plummer, professionally known as ModelJavan, was born on October 11, 1999, in Van Buren, Arkansas. Raised there until the age of nine, Plummer's life shifted dramatically when his mother was diagnosed with cancer, leading the family to relocate to Texas. It was in Texas that Plummer's creative spark began to grow, though his path into the industry did not begin until after high school.

After graduating from Clements High School in Sugar Land, Texas, in 2018, Plummer realized he did not need to wait for a "big break" to pursue his ambitions. By 2019, he began actively working in acting and modeling. His persistence paid off in 2022 when he landed a Netflix role, followed by a standout appearance on a fashion reality series.
