Julia Hicks(II)

Julia Hicks is a Junior film student at SCAD Atlanta. Julia has been studying acting since 2016 and has been signed with TDH Talent Unlimited since 2018. Julia hopes to use the skills she learns at SCAD to create and direct her own projects. Her favorite genre is comedy. Julia hopes to create films that bring awareness to underrepresented groups. She focuses on narrative stories with a 'metaphorical twist.' Her film 'One Click Away' was an official selection at the 2022 All American High School Film Festival. The short also took home the 'Beauty and Media' award at the Connect Her Film Festival 2022. She recently wrote, starred in, and edited 'One More Thing,' a comedy micro film. She has submitted the film to many comedy film festivals around the world. She has worked on many other student projects and SCAD alumni films. In her free time, Julia enjoys rock climbing, going to the gym, and attending to her duties as a Resident Assistant.
