Biography

Feride Morçay is a British-Turkish actress based in London, working across stage and screen. She trained at LAMDA, completing an MA in Classical Acting for the Professional Theatre, and at Rose Bruford College, where she completed an MA in Performance and Collaborative Theatre-Making.

Her work spans film and theatre and includes her solo stage production, Chickadee.

Born and raised in Istanbul, Feride took part in a high-school exchange year in the United States through AFS Intercultural Programs before moving to London. She studied Media and Communications at Goldsmiths, University of London, with a particular interest in psychology in film, embodiment and filmmaking.

Feride works in Turkish and English, speaks fluent German, and has knowledge of French and Spanish. Her accent work includes RP, Standard American and a range of European accents.
