Biography

Emily Mutimer is an Australian actress, writer, and singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. She is best known for her role as Astrid in the internationally acclaimed series Flunk, and its spin-off feature films After School and The Sleepover.

Recent credits include the lead role of Annie in the U.S. independent feature People & Things, as well as lead roles in the Australian pilot series Bunchie and Bongrats. As a writer-producer, Emily created and starred in the award-winning short comedy-drama On the Seventh Day I Was Late to Spin Class, earning Best Actress and Best Comedy at the Los Angeles Independent Short Awards.

Alongside her screen work, Emily releases indie-pop music as a singer-songwriter.
