- Erin Mackellin is a filmmaker based in Melbourne, Australia.
As a child, filming on her Kodak Easyshare and editing bits of footage together sparked a passion for filmmaking. Her school teachers could never take her camera away from her, earning Erin a lunchtime detention.
Her short film, 'the_fishbowl' won Best Science and Technology Film at the Cannes World Film Festival as well as winning Best Original Story at the Los Angeles Film Awards.
Her love for aesthetics and architecture lead her to working as a Production Designer. With years of experience and a focal point on the narrative realm, Erin has worked on a variety of mediums as a Production Designer; including the upcoming feature films, 'Westgate' - MIFF 2025, Ramblin', and 'Paper Dol
Erin is working on her next short film, 'Circumference' as a Writer/Director, along with some long form projects in the works.
