Alaine Alldaffer has proudly served as the casting director for Playwrights Horizons for over three decades, establishing herself as a key figure in the theater community. Her remarkable work has earned her numerous accolades, including an impressive 15 ARTIOS nominations, solidifying her reputation for excellence in casting.

Among her notable Broadway credits is Stereophonic, which garnered the Tony Award for Best Play, the Drama Desk Award for Best Ensemble, and the ARTIOS Award for Casting. She also cast A Strange Loop, which won the Tony Award for Best Musical, and Clybourne Park, recipient of the Tony Award for Best Play.

In the Off-Broadway realm, her achievements include Downstate, recognized with an ARTIOS Award, and Circle Mirror Transformation, which received Drama Desk and Obie Awards for Best Ensemble, along with another ARTIOS Award.
