- Avram Davidson was born on April 23, 1923 in Yonkers, New York, USA. He was a writer, known for Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955), The Unforeseen (1958) and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour (1962). He was married to Grania Kaiman. He died on May 8, 1993 in Bremerton, Washington, USA.

They moved to Amecameca, Mexico, in 1963, but were divorced. Davidson lived in British Honduras for years, and in the 1970s taught at the University of Texas in El Paso, at the University of California in Irvine, and at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. In 1982 he moved to Washington State.
