Nolani, born Lyric Nolani Simmons, is an Atlanta-based actor known for her grounded presence and perceptive, emotionally driven performances. Raised between North and South Metro Atlanta, she developed an early awareness of human behavior and the subtle ways emotion reveals itself-an instinct that continues to shape her work on screen.

Without access to a formal arts-focused education, she found herself studying people instead-how they speak, what they avoid, and what their silence communicates. Traditional public school environments often felt limiting, leaving little room for individuality, which pushed her to search for more honest and personal ways to express herself.

Her path into acting has been equally self-directed.
