Andrei Cojocaru was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania. Born in a family of two military parents (Valentin & Alexandra Cojocaru), Andrei embraced art and started exploring it whole. He graduated National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale" in 2021. He is best known for "Tripuri" (2022), film which he wrote, produced and directed, but also for his musical career in Romania, where he goes by the nickname Cojo. Being a musician and a filmmaker, but also a theatre enthusiast, put Cojo's name in the credits of theatre plays - "N-am vazut nimic" (2021) - as a music composer as well.
