Biography

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Annie Schwartz began her acting career at the age of six in musical theatre, training with the Fabrefaction Theatre Company. Early stage credits include Aristocats, Beauty and the Beast, and Peter Pan. At twelve, Annie transitioned into on-camera training at Catapult Acting Studios, where she studied extensively with studio founder Erik Lingvall. Her notable screen credits include the leading role as Dakota in Lucas Hicks's Chasing June, streaming on Prime Video, and a supporting role as Paige in Pepi Ginsburg's Wassupkaylee, which premiered at SXSW in March 2025 and received a Best Narrative Short nomination before going on to win multiple awards on the festival circuit. She has also appeared in a recurring role as Bella in Amazon/A24 pilot, Lifted, created by Mary Bronstein and Liza Mandelup, as well as starring as Lily in Scott Brignac's miniseries Magic City, which premiered before an audience of over 3,000 teens at a national retreat. In addition to film and television work, Annie has appeared in numerous music videos, most notably "Okay" by the Haschak Sisters, along with several Mattybaps and Funniflix productions that have collectively garnered tens of millions of views. In the summer of 2025, Annie continued her training in New York City at the Michael Howard Studios. She completed two intensive scene study programs: one with three-time Emmy Award-winning actor Cady McClain, focusing on the Michael Howard Methodology which emphasizes imagination, sensory work, voice and body integration, script analysis, and character development; and another with Drama League Award-winning director and somatic acting teacher Ellie Heyman, whose work integrates Meisner technique, Michael Chekhov methodology, and mind-body release practices. Annie plans to further expand her training in Los Angeles in the summer of 2026. When not on set, Annie is working on B.A. in Entertainment and Media Studies at the University of Georgia. With a foundation rooted in classical training and a growing body of acclaimed screen work, Annie Schwartz continues to establish herself as a dynamic and emotionally grounded young actor.
