Emmy Award winning screenwriter Ghia Godfree is a Harvard sociology graduate with a Ph.D. in Cinema & Media Studies from the University of Southern California. Ghia's work focuses on kids entertainment, allowing her the opportunity to write for a diverse number of studios including Disney, Sony Pictures, Lucasfilm, DreamWorks, Netflix, and more. She has been the recipient of two Annie Awards nominations, two Emmy Award nominations, and one Emmy Award win, which was for her work on Disney's "Muppet Babies." In addition to her work as a screenwriter, Ghia also has experience as an educator, having devoted multiple years as a guest lecturer at Occidental College in Los Angeles, California.
